93 Points Thomas Parker "The 2021 is 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, harvested from 24th September to 6th October. Vibrant purple colour. Very polished, fleshy black fruit on the nose. Hints of incense and allspice berries add an exoticism that makes for a heady blend of aromas. This follows on the palate, which is smoky but has cool blue and black fruits together with sweeter liquorice. Smoky, cool black fruit with hints of liquorice. Full bodied for the vintage, the succulent fruit is matched by plentiful, velveteen tannins and lifted by the bright acidity. Pure and deep, this is a very fine example of Pomerol"
